What are samsung polyphonic ringtones?
A polyphonic ringtone is “the next generation” of ringtones that has better sound quality than traditional monotone ringtones. Polyphonic ringtones sound great and truly make your phone unique! Basically, it is a multi “voice”/sound track recreation of a song that contains several instruments. Some phone types accept more “voices” or instruments in the polyphonic ringtone than others, but don’t worry about that technical mumbo jumbo, we have already done that research…. We just ask you to make sure you order a polyphonic ringtone in accordance with your phone make and model as indicated on our site.
What is the difference between samsung polyphonic ringtones and a standard ringtone?
In short, a samsung polyphonic ringtone sounds better, closer to the actual song and is really quite cool! Technically, there are a few differences between the two. For example, a polyphonic ringtone will have at least 4, others 12, some 16 or more “voices” (e.g. instruments) that play the tone you want on your phone - which means you get a much better sound and realistic tone. Additionally, a polyphonic ringtone is not delivered the same way a monotone ringtone is delivered. A monotone ringtone is delivered directly to the user’s phone via SMS. A polyphonic ringtone must be downloaded from our server via WAP, but the process is very easy and quick.
